Our inspiration.
Thomas Messenger had a passion for plants and the greenhouses that allowed
them to thrive.
World famous in the 19th Century for his functional yet beautiful greenhouses, his attention to detail and drive for perfection did much to create and spread Britain’s reputation for gardening around the globe.
Today we use unique low maintenance aluminium extrusions that provide greater strength, durability and yet look as beautiful as the victorian timber structures; we even make them the same proportions as the original timber sections.
As individual as your garden.
The innate style of our greenhouses will complement any garden. However,
just as each customer and garden is individual, so is each greenhouse. They are
able to be extensively adapted to change dramatically from a quiet refuge to a
modern icon, to a striking celebration of Victoriana. It’s entirely up to you; we
simply guide you and advise on growing implications while giving you the
benefit of our 50 plus years in the industry.
Our greenhouses can give you the height for tropical plants, the perfect structure for melons, arid conditions for cacti or hot and humid climate for orchids.
